SECTION 1: Group Tour General Info

1. GROUP TOUR TITLE:

For this section give your Group Tour service a creative name that describes what travelers will learn or learn to do.

2. GROUP TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Use this section to provide details about what the service is and what travelers should expect from their experience. Include highlights such as landmarks visited and activities performed. Also provide the links to the individual Skill/Knowledge Share, OVN Accommodation, and Business Accommodation services used to create the Group Tour.

SECTION 2: Images

3. FEATURED PHOTO:

Your featured photo is the one that will appear when travelers are searching through tours.

Select an image you feel best represents the tour as a whole and will catch travelers’ attention.

4. ADDITIONAL IMAGES:

Travelers will be able to view additional images after selecting your group tour service.

Provide images that show key aspects of the tour such as travelers participating in activities and visiting landmarks, and include a few images of yourself guiding the tour.

 

SECTION 3: Tour Services

The numbers entered in this section will be used to calculate the total cost of the Group Tour. Use your individual Skill/Knowledge Share, Overnight Accommodation, and Business Accommodation services to complete this section, (click the links to be directed to guide manuals for each of these services).

5. GROUP TOUR # OF DAYS:

List the total number of days for this tour. When creating the Service Task List (in the section below), specify which day the Skill/Knowledge Share Services or Custom Tasks are completed.

6. SERVICE TASKS SCHEDULE:

Use this section to create your Group Tour’s itinerary by combining your Skill/Knowledge Share services with “custom tasks” in the order in which they occur on your tour. Submit individual entries for each service and task on your itinerary.

To add a Skill/Knowledge Share Service to your tour itinerary, select Skill/Knowledge Share Service from the bulleted options.

6.2

Chose which of your services you want to add.

6.3

Provide the number of hours the service will be performed.

6.4

If your tour has multiple days, select the day on which this service is performed. If your tour is not multi-day, select “Day 1” for all entries.

If this service is performed on multiple days of the same tour, it must be added multiple times as individual entries in the order that it occurs.

6. SERVICE TASKS SCHEDULE (CONTINUED):

6.1

To add a Custom Task to your tour itinerary, select Custom Task from the bulleted options.

6.2

Describe the custom task.

6.3

Provide the number of hours the task will be performed.

6.4

If your tour has multiple days, select the day on which this task is performed.

If the task is performed on multiple days of the same tour, it must be added multiple times as individual entries in the order that it occurs.

7. OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION (OVN) SERVICES:

8. BUSINESS ACCOMMODATION SERVICES:

Use this section to add any of your Business Accommodation Services used in conducting your Group Tour.

8.1 

Select which of your Business Accommodations you would like from the drop down menu.

8.2 

Provide the number of hours it will be used for the tour.

SECTION 4: Traveler Count Info

9. MAXIMUM TRAVELER COUNT:

This is the maximum number of travelers who can book your Group Tour.

10. # OF TRAVELERS BEFORE AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION:

This is the minimum number of travelers who must book the tour before the tour automatically cancels and travelers are fully reimbursed.

If you don’t want the tour to cancel for any lack of bookings, simply enter “0.”

11. # OF TRAVELERS FOR EXTRA LABOR SURCHARGE:

This number relates only to payment information, and is explained here (link).

SECTION 5: Payment Info

12. CURRENCY SYMBOL:

Select the currency symbol for the country where your tour is conducted.

13. SUPPLIES/MATERIALS COST PER TRAVELER:

Use this section to add any additional expenses for things included in your Group Tour, such as food and transportation.

SECTION 6: Tour Scheduling Details

Use this section to provide booking information for your Group Tour. Add multiple entries for individual dates/times your tour is available.

15. TOUR START DATES:

15.1

Open the calendar to select the date of your tour.

15.2 

Provide the time at which this tour will occur.

Multiple tours can be added on the same day by submitting multiple entries with different time slots.

 

16. GROUP TOUR MEETING POINT:

Provide the address where you will meet your travelers on the day and time of the Group Tour.

17. SERVICE ZIP CODE:

18. NEARBY CITY:

To improve your search results provide the most commonly known nearby city or town where you host your Group Tour.

19. ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR TRAVELERS 

Use this section to provide any additional notes for travelers, such as dining options for tours with meal breaks, recommended dress codes, and directions to the tour locations.
